Behavioral Health Committee

The Behavioral Health committee strives to network behavioral health providers across the continuum of care to collectively work together to problem-solve barriers that stand in the way of providing the best possible care to individuals served in Allegheny County.

 Avenues of advocacy include:

  • authoring white papers
  • meeting with local and state officials to advocate for agreed upon change
  • addressing common financial concerns with payers
  • providing talking points to the Legislative Affairs Committee for advocacy with elected officials
